Dr. Zain Jivraj

Raised in Calgary, Dr. Zain Jivraj is a passionate and driven optometrist and the founder of Market Mall Optometry. Her impressive education background includes:

• Bachelor of Science with Honours (University of Calgary)
• Doctor of Optometry with Distinction (University of Waterloo)

To supplement her education, Dr. Jivraj also has a wide range of clinical experience from recognized institutions such as The Eye Foundation of Utah and Eyes at Narangba in Australia, where she focused her work on the treatment of Glaucoma, Behavioral Optometry and Pediatric Vision.

Dr. Jivraj is also a dedicated volunteer, performing free eye exams for the homeless in Calgary as well as conducting eye care missions abroad. Recently, she accompanied the charity Canadian Vision Care in one of their missions in Jamaica.

A highly accomplished optometrist, Dr. Jivraj is passionate about using innovative eye care technology to improve eyesight clarity and enhance her patients’ vision.

She continues to grow her practices and is dedicated to bringing advanced and affordable eye health care to her patients.

Dr. Kevin Trieu

Dr. Kevin Trieu graduated from the University of Calgary with a degree in Computer Science, after which he attended the Illinois College of Optometry, earning his Doctorate degree.

His impressive academic achievements have made him a valuable member of the Beta Sigma Kappa and the Tomb & Key Honor Society.

Upon graduating in 2010, Dr. Trieu joined the Hispanic Institute for Blindness Prevention, an organization dedicated to underserved communities in Virginia and Washington DC.

Dr. Trieu’s unique educational and clinical background gives him an innovative perspective on eye health care and he uses an ever-evolving, knowledgeable approach to successfully treat and care for patients of all ages.

Outside of the office, he is a passionate sports fan and enjoys playing golf, as well as spending quality time with his family.
